Did anyone else have this experience, I ordered a 4310 in Connecticut with a ton of options like 7 pin trailer outlet,55 amp alternator, a 3rd scv, power beyond and other stuff(see previous thread, " I took the plunge 4310") and the dealer said he was going to put everyting on the tractor and the factory doesn't do anything with the options. Is this normal or was he trying to get a tractor off his lot?

Yep, that was how mine was done and I think all manufacturers do that. The factory ships them out pretty much all the same, except for transmission types, and the dealer is responsible for installing options. The tractor industry isn't like the car industry where they build to order. When I was at the NH dealer they had a bunch of tractors in crates that were all the same, and any options there were dealer installed as well. ....

Well that makes me feel better, I was worried that I was getting ripped off just so a dealer could move the tractor. ....
